Sutton Winson was one of over 60 independent brokers participating in UNiBA Partners’ global network conference in Spain this October.
UNiBA Partners is a quality and service focused, leading global network of independent insurance brokers serving clients in over 130 countries. The 30th Anniversary conference brought together senior management as well as operational staff and insurers from all over the world. The conference was also a perfect occasion to formally welcome four new Partners: Insurance Brokers of Nigeria, Axle Asia from Indonesia, Hayat from Malaysia and Wallace McLean from New Zealand.
Sutton Winson’s Managing Director, David Thomson, has been elected to UNiBA Partners’ 2017-2019 Board of Directors at this conference.
“The Board is responsible for the proper management of the network while acting as a link to the insurance community. In addition the Board ensures that UNiBA Partners’ business is conducted with honesty and integrity. Our Partners have voted in favour of David Thomson, being absolutely sure that he will contribute to the development and implementation of the network’s strategy”, says Mareen Hüffmeier, UNiBA Partners’ CEO.
David succeeds Alan Sutton and Kevin MacEvoy as the third director from Sutton Winson to serve on UNiBA Partners’ board. He takes on the role of Treasurer & Legal. His term on the board is for two years, however, he may be part of the board more than once as the current limit is three consecutive terms.
