A bit about me and my role

Typically, my days are entirely unpredictable, but usually consist of an array of problems that need to be solved. I look after large, complex clients' insurance arrangements and am ultimately responsible for the service delivery, programme placement and making sure an efficient, effective service is provided.

After 35 years in the industry, I’ve come to understand that insurance is ultimately a relationship-driven business. By forging strong relationships with underwriters, business development managers and other senior stakeholders within the industry, we can thrive and provide the best solutions for our clients.

There’s a strong work ethic here at SW that backs a genuine care about all clients and the service they’re provided with. Effective internal communication is one of our strengths, which seems to have only improved since the pandemic. I appreciate that we can laugh along the way, despite the sometimes stressful work situations that arise due to the nature of our business.

When I’m not at the office…

I love to bake (often baking for the team) and also enjoy going to the gym – especially after I found my running legs at 54!

You can also find me at the cinema, theatre, art exhibitions, on long dog walks or out to dinner with friends. And I’m usually one to capture these special moments with my camera!
