A bit about me and my role

It’s very important for me to be close to our people and as a company that recognises the importance of time spent in person, I try to be in one of our offices at least 3 days per week. My time will often be spent supporting the Heads of Department and Client Executives in managing their people and clients. I enjoy nothing better than meeting and interacting with clients and insurers to strengthen our relationships and build a greater understanding of each other – insurance is and always will be a relationship business.

I’m fortunate to be supported by a fantastic group of colleagues who are caring, technically superb and key to our culture, which is to always do the best for our clients and our colleagues.

We’re a joined-up business which encourages our people to invest time getting to know colleagues from other teams and offices. I’m proud to see the level of support given with everyday challenges and balance that well, with knowing when to party and have of a lot of fun.

When I’m not at the office…

I’m really into keeping fit! I love to ski and am the President of a local rugby club where I coach a youth team with my son. Family definitely come first and nothing beats getting together for a walk with our dog Nessa (the hairy hooligan).
