A bit about me and my role
My days are always varied. I look after a large team of customer-facing advisers who help our clients navigate a diverse range of products within the world of Personal Lines including Home, Motor and Travel. I'm also responsible for the day-to-day management of these products and Insurers, including problem solving, process implementation and improvement, compliance and navigating the changes the FCA implement.
We have a fantastic culture that always puts clients first. SW are also incredibly passionate about developing staff, which naturally leads to better outcomes for our varied client base, helps people develop personally and professionally and in turn helps me come to work every day proud of the work I'm doing for our clients and my team.
We’re a very social bunch and I'm especially fond of SW Live, our annual Summer Event. It's a great chance to get both our offices together, learn more about each other and ways we can support each other and our clients, whilst taking advantage of the nice weather.
When I’m not at the office…
If I'm not talking insurance, which happens more than my wife would like, you'll find me travelling, watching NHL Ice Hockey, being terrible at golf or teaching myself to play the guitar.
If I'm not doing any of those things, I'm probably taking pictures of my cat, showing people pictures of my cat, or talking about my cat…
