Senior Claims Negotiator - Commercial Insurance Claims

Who we’re looking for & what’s in it for you?
Your role will include liaison with insurers, Accident Management companies, solicitors and Third Parties and to ensure that your clients are kept well informed and supported from initial call through to settlement. Therefore, an expectation of being able to communicate empathetically and confidently with clients and colleagues is a given, as is the ability to take on everyday administration with accuracy and diligence.
As a Senior Negotiator, you will be comfortable mentoring and coaching less experienced members of the team and new starters as well as leading internal Claims Team meetings, when required. You’ll also be required to liaise effectively with Client Managers and Execs from other areas of the business and to ensure all claims data is kept up to date.
Experience-wise, you’ll have a solid grounding in Commercial Claims with demonstrable expertise in Liability Claims and Motor Fleet/ Trade Claims. You’ll also understand pre-action protocols and timeframes, property damage and EL/PL/PI Claims and be able to confidently provide Risk Management advice, including spotting claims trends and required remedial action.
You will be qualified to a minimum A Level standard (including GCSE Maths and English Language) and ideally hold a Cert CII (or be willing to complete within 6 months). We also need you to be proficient in MS Excel.
