About the role

The Marketing Team play a vital role in supporting the sales, growth and retention initiatives across all business lines. As brand ambassadors, together the team identify and develop opportunities to help build brand awareness, as well as maintain consistency across all touchpoints. The team are also key in helping drive staff engagement through regular internal communications and events.

As a Marketing Executive at Sutton Winson, you’ll enjoy taking ownership of a diverse range of end-to-end marketing campaigns and thrive on getting stuck in with supporting the implementation of our strategic marketing plans.

You’ll be expected to work from both our Twickenham and Burgess Hill offices. For this reason, your home base can either be located within a commutable distance of either office.

Who you are

Having already built up some strong Marketing experience, ideally in an insurance or financial services environment, you’ll be confident in delivering your work creatively and with passion.

A natural and enthusiastic communicator, you’ll be confident;

  • Managing effective and compelling campaigns that meet sales and developmental objectives
  • Producing and delivering a consistently high level of work across a variety of platforms including: content writing, advertising, social media, websites and emails
  • Providing design and graphics for website, email marketing, other digital media and print collateral
  • Collating, analysing reporting on campaign success metrics and tracking overall marketing engagement
  • Supporting with organising and delivering external and internal events, including webinars, corporate entertainment and staff parties.
What you’ll bring

Must haves

  • Strong understanding of Sales & Marketing techniques
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Experience of utilising social media as a marketing tool
  • Understanding of digital marketing techniques (i.e. Google Analytics, PPC)
  • Organisation, accuracy and attention to detail
  • IT confidence (MS Office and MAC)
  • Passion, energy and a strong customer service ethos
  • Effective, confident and considerate communication skills both in writing and verbally and an ability to adapt your communication style accordingly
  • Intuitive thinking and confident decision making
  • A willing approach to training and personal development
  • Educated to degree level in Marketing related subject and/or equivalent industry experience. 

Ideal, but not essential (full training provided)

  • Experience of using HTML and CSS
  • Understanding of cross browser compatibility and responsive design
  • Experience using design software (Adobe InDesign & Illustrator)
  • Insurance or financial services background.
