Virtual Risk Manager

Your online portal

Virtual Risk Manager (VRM) is an easy to use online management system. It’s incredibly useful if you have:

  • Little or no qualified Health and Safety resource in-house; and/or
  • Only a minimum working knowledge of what the law requires you to do.
  • You want to manage Health and Safety within your organisation, at the cheapest possible cost and without bringing in external consultants

A self-guiding process

VRM will assess your current level of compliance and guide you through the key legislation, showing you how best to manage things day-to-day. It will also help you put the necessary paperwork in place (as having evidence of existing control measures is essential, particularly when it comes to defending personal injury claims).

Approved online training

Staff training is a key part of any Health and Safety management system, and VRM includes a suite of online training modules with end-of-course tests and certification. The training records can be retained on the system itself – within the document storage area – and on the staff file.

VRM has a number of benefits, including:

  • An initial self-assessment test to ascertain your current level of Health and Safety (and incidentally HR) compliance
  • General guidance on how to go about managing Health and Safety/HR in your organisation
  • Templates for a Health and Safety Policy, risk assessments, employment procedures, accident report forms, and such like
  • A document upload/storage area for secure storage of any existing Health and Safety/HR documentation you may have
  • An A-Z library with a wealth of information on Health and Safety/HR subjects
  • An ‘Ask the Expert’ function where you can send any specific questions through to people who can help
  • A suite of online Health and Safety training modules
  • Information and assistance with Business Continuity Management and Planning.

All subscribers to VRM automatically get access to the HR and Business Continuity areas of the site, as well as Health and Safety – within a single annual fee.

There is no substitute for a demonstration; so if you have an interest in the platform we would be very happy to arrange this.

The Virtual Risk Manager site has proved a valuable resource in helping us manage H&S. It’s clear, concise and easy to navigate, offering areas specific to the industry we operate in, which is important. We have used the VRM, not only as a point of information, but have cited Sutton Winson and the information available on the system when completing specific risk assessments, which we feel gives strength when assessing a risk.

We will certainly use the training resource moving forward in order to improve staff awareness and knowledge of specific risk associated with their roles.
