The course is designed for managers and supervisors - to give them a robust understanding of their responsibilities for Health & Safety - and culminates in an exam and special project with successful candidates gaining a nationally recognised qualification. The content is excellently produced - a mixture of animated presentations, DVD media, group discussions and quizzes/games - in order to promote awareness, and support learning across the eight modules:
- Introducing Managing Safely
- Assessing risks
- Controlling risks
- Understanding your responsibilities
- Identifying hazards
- Investigating accidents and incidents
- Measuring performance
- Protecting our environment.
Directors as well as managers are welcome to enrol. In many businesses Directors will have an element of “hands on” responsibility for Health & Safety so the course will be equally relevant to them.
