IOSH Managing Safely (4 days)

Written by Martin Coppard

16/11/2021 - 25/11/2021

About this course

The course is designed for managers and supervisors - to give them a robust understanding of their responsibilities for Health & Safety - and culminates in an exam and special project with successful candidates gaining a nationally recognised qualification. The content is excellently produced - a mixture of animated presentations, DVD media, group discussions and quizzes/games - in order to promote awareness, and support learning across the seven modules:

  • Introducing Managing Safely
  • Assessing risks
  • Controlling risks
  • Understanding your responsibilities
  • Understanding hazards
  • Investigating incidents
  • Measuring performance

Directors as well as managers are welcome to enrol. In many businesses, Directors will have an element of 'hands on' responsibility for Health & Safety so the course will be equally relevant to them.
