Since 2006, the UNA Achievement Awards have been presented at their annual conference, which this
year has fallen on Thursday 7 November.
Sutton Winson put forward Debbie Parker to compete against 12 other insurers/brokers in the Business Development category and we are pleased that the judges recognised all her accomplishments to date.
Debbie joined us in November 2011 to spearhead the development of our Healthcare portfolio. This was an important step in diversifying the products and services we offer to clients.
Not only has Debbie proved her professionalism and reliability to clients but also to her colleagues, who have helped introduce her to those clients, demonstrating their confidence in her. This has underpinned her success to date and is expected to do so for the coming couple of years.
Having succeeded in expanding the Healthcare portfolio, Debbie has helped to train account technicians and executives so that we service our clients in the way Sutton Winson expects and TCF demands. At the desk training, formal presentations and 1-2-1 coaching have all played a part, as has involving insurers to widen our understanding of the market place.
Throughout her time with us, Debbie's innate qualities of tenacity, enthusiasm, empathy and sense of fun have served her well. This was a second win for Sutton Winson - Debbie is following in the footsteps of Martin Coppard, who won in 2011.
I joined Sutton Winson in November 2011 as an Account Executive and now manage the Healthcare Division. I previously worked for SJA International and Legal & General in various different departments. I specialise in Private Medical Insurance and Group Risk Products and have been doing this for over 15 years. I assist companies with their employee benefits and help find the best possible deal or solutions and I hold the Chartered Insurance Institute Certificate (Cert CII).
