A new & affordable Healthcare Plan for 95% of UK SMEs
30 May 2018
We have launched a self-selected healthcare insurance plan at four pre-set premium rates (£7, £17, £29 and £37 per employee per month). There are no medical questions and the cover is the same for all ages. The policy can be up and running in minutes.
Equipsme plans, underwritten by AXA PPP healthcare, are aimed at businesses who have historically been unable to afford health insurance plans across their workforce. Each employee can choose to upgrade their level of cover should they wish and add family members on their mobile device. Plans include physio sessions, online health checks, and private nurse helplines, along with many other benefits, and are simple to set up.
Matthew Reed, Managing Director of Equipsme, commented:
“We want all businesses to feel as if they can get healthcare in place for all of their existing employees without breaking the bank or stretching themselves too thin. We want to keep their workforce fighting fit by offering unlimited GP appointments, health checks and diagnostic tests from £17 per month. We feel all SMEs, no matter how big or small, should be able to insure every single one of their employees. Everyone should have access to healthcare.
“We’re aiming to make health insurance easier to understand for UK SMEs and are confident that our unique product offering is going to bring positive change to the industry.”
David Thompson, Managing Director of Sutton Winson said:
“For far too long UK businesses have seen their traditional Private Healthcare Insurance premium increase year on year and we want to give SMEs the chance to attract and retain a healthy and happy workforce.
“Everyone can now have access to affordable private healthcare.”
