It’s been a little while since we last spoke about our “Pitch In” initiative, and since we’ve just launched our first ever Pitch In Prize Draw, it’s the perfect time to remind you all what it’s about! We’ll introduce the scheme and its aims, just in case this is the first you’ve heard of it, highlight our amazing fundraising achievements so far and show you how we can take fundraising for your club to the next level with our prize draw!
Why we choose to Pitch In
Whatever sports club you belong to – be it bowls, cricket or something completely different – we understand its value to you and your fellow members. Local clubs are the means to connect with friends and make new ones; to exercise and keep fit; to relax and unwind at the weekend. We also know that these community hubs can’t survive without the fundraising efforts of their members, which maintain upkeep, put on events and enable clubs to grow. This endeavour can be incredibly difficult for club members to bear alone, which is why we’re proud to assist you through our Pitch In scheme.
So, how does it work?
Running now for over three years, its premise is simple. If someone belongs to a club and decides to get a no-obligation quote for a car or home insurance policy from us, we’ll pledge £10 to their club. If the policy is taken out, we’ll give even more:
- If the premium is less than £750, we’ll pay an additional £20
- If it’s over £750, we’ll pay an additional £50
- If it’s over £1,000, we’ll pay an additional £100
- If the policy renews the following year, a further additional amount will be paid out again. It’s as easy as that!
Introducing our first ever Pitch In Prize Draw!
Through our Pitch In scheme, we’ve donated over £7000 in the last three years – an amount we’re immensely proud of. We know how valuable these funds are to your clubs, so we’re delighted to offer you the chance to raise even more through our Pitch In Prize Draw! From 13th July until 1st September 2023, all you have to do is provide us with your email address, club name and your policy renewal dates, and you’ll have a chance of winning one of four additional prizes of £250 for your chosen club.
